Make new magic items as weapons, just make the weapons and add (monk) for the name. then just give weapon proficiency and the weapon itself and then click on "affected by Martial Arts. This will make the monk able to use the wepaon and then have it change based on its level for weapon damage."
Thanks, but I'm not asking for workarounds, I'm asking for the modifier so I (and users of my homebrew) don't have to use workarounds at all.
But for reference you don't need to create magic items to do this, you can either customise the weapon under actions (if only the modifiers are wrong) or add a custom action (and set martial arts on that). This is what I currently have to recommend for my Way of the Weapon Master homebrew.

We can already silver weapons by customizing them, with the "Silvered" checkbox. (Though it would be nice if Ammunition had that checkbox too.)
I should have been specific that I'm looking to set Silvered in the item, not on the character sheet...
Just say it's silvered in the actual item.
EDIT: And, mechanically, silver is worse than a magic weapon because all resistances or immunities that can be overcome with a silvered weapon can also be overcome with a magic weapon, but not all resistances that can be overcome with a magic weapon can be overcome with a silvered weapon.

If you're creating a magic item then any attacks made using it are already magical; you only need an item to be silvered if it's a nonmagical weapon and you're attacking ghosts and such which have resistance to non-magical weapons. We don't currently have the ability to edit basic (nonmagical) items, so we can't currently edit the only items that may need to be silvered?
Otherwise if the magic item being made of silver is an important detail then like Dragonslayer9 says it's really just something to mention in the description.

But you don’t need to, because damage from a magic weapon is strictly better than damage from a silvered weapon.

I don’t think you’re pickin’ up what they’re puttin’ down.
Currently we cannot homebrew nonmagical equipment, only magic items. A magic sword is already better than a silver sword. That modifier wouldn’t be applicable for magic weapons, only for nonmagical weapons. Since we cannot create any nonmagic weapons, there would be nowhere useful for us to use that modifier at the present time. If/when we ever get the ability to create nonmagical weapons then that would be a useful modifier, but until then not so much.
Think of it like a car. If a regular weapon is the “base model,” then a silvered weapon is the “sport package.” The sport comes with everything the base model has, but with upgraded brakes and suspension, fancy rims, bucket seats with the additional side bolsters to hold you tight while you’re hugging; the curves of the road, a better radio, and the badging on the back says “SE.” Okay, so then the magic weapon is the “limed edition,” which comes with everything the sport package offers, plus heated leather seats, moonroof, navigation, and the badging on the back says “LE.”
Adding Silver to a magic weapon would be like taking that limited package car and supergluing the SE badge next to the LE badge. Nobody is giving you “workarounds,” they’re trying to help you superglue your SE badging on the back of your car.
They are also trying to politely explain why it’s absolutely pointless. They’re nice like that. I’m less nice than they are, but more kind since I’m the one actually willing to spell it all out for you so you can stop worrying about supergluing a pointless bit of badging onto your magic weapon.

No, I don't think that you understand. I'm not looking for the silver to give it a "power". In AD&D, there were some silver magic items were published in Dragon mag that were accepted for use. I don't understand why everyone is expending some much energy to convince me not to ask for a silver magic item. I replied to " What additional modifiers would you like to see available in homebrew? " I posted what I wanted and people are losing their minds over it... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm trying to be a part of the community by joining the conversation, but if I have to defend every post why should I??? Please respect my answer to the question posted.

There's no need to get annoyed, I'm not trying to be discouraging (and I'm not suggesting a workaround so copy/pasting my own words doesn't really apply); my point is that silvering a magic weapon doesn't do anything mechanically, so what is the intended purpose of the modifier? If you just want your magic item to be silver then that's just a detail in the description, like a weapon being ornate, or purple, or anything else that has no impact on how it actually functions (or is only a cosmetic detail of what its functions really are).
A Greater Silver Sword for example doesn't have the silvered property, it's just described (and named) as silver, because for a magic weapon it's a purely cosmetic detail (or a crafting detail if your DM lets you make one).
Now if we could customise basic items (to create our own base weapons like a longsword or such) then I'd absolutely expect to have the option for setting silvered by default, but we don't know what that feature is going to be like (or when or if we're ever going to get it).
I'm not trying to discourage you from participating, but a modifier really needs to represent something that makes a mechanical difference to the item.

I would also like to be able to adjust or change the base damage of a weapon. For example, when a Rune knight uses their Giant's Might they can use a larger weapon. I'd like to either customize a weapon or homebrew a weapon that does additional base damage.
Hi I know its not the ideal solution but the easiest solution is to find a weapon that has the damage you want and change its name and description to the weapon you want directly on the character sheet.
My understanding is this is one of the new changes that should be a lot easier once they complete their new rewrite of the underlying code.
