While creating a subclass, I noticed that under the modifier portion of a feature there is a modifier subclass labelled "Spell Group - Healing." Is there a way to make a "Spell Group -Damage Dealing" or is there already one that I missed?

No, there isn't.
And the purpose of that modifier is to make the spell compatible with the Life Cleric's Disciple of Life feature.

I know it's been a bit quiet here lately, but I had a weapon concept that doesn't appear to be possible to homebrew (I've been homebrewing a little while, but am far from good), so I just want to run it past the experts here. Is it possible to create a weapon that has a saving throw to hit instead of an attack roll? I would like it to be scaleable, DC 10 + prof + dex probably, so that it can grow with the character and for that to also display when using beyond20 (I know it's not technically a dndbeyond thing, but a lot of people use it and it would be helpful) same as attack rolls or spell DCs. Please do reply if you have any additional questions about what I'm after and I will try to answer fairly quickly, but if it's just not possible, I'll accept that and just create it as a custom action instead (though if it's possible as a custom action, why can it not be created as an item?)

Creating ordinary equipment isn’t a feature for D&D Beyond, but I can think of one way to accomplish that goal. (Keep in mind I’m not an expert like @IAmSposta.)
1. Create a homebrew spell that has the effect of the weapon you want to make, saving throw and all.
2. Create a homebrew common magic item that allows its user to “cast” the homebrew spell at will and uses the wielder’s Dexterity as their spellcasting stat. If you want to do rules strictly, include that the spell isn’t actually being cast, but the effect of the spell is used anyway, and that it can be “cast” as an attack (for Extra Attack purposes).
I am trying to build a homebrew, however, as I was building it dndbeyond kept crashing on me often. And now I think it is broken. However besides that, there is one feature I am not able to get to work no matter how much I try and I could use some help.
I have created a homebrew where a sorcerer basically gets the pact of the weapon ability from a warlock. Where they can bond with a weapon and use their cha mod instead of the strength or dexterity mod. HOW for the love of everything do I add this in? So far all the things I have tried give a bonus to the attacks or damage that equals their charisma. But no where can I find a way to override it.
I have been working for weeks on this and it is driving me absolutely insane.

Not as Such, no. Weapons require attack rolls RAW, so that’s what they do here. You couldn’t even really fake it well by adding a spell to a magic item because the item would use the character’s spellcasting ability by default and if they have none it would only have a DC of 8 + PB. (By the way, save DCs are 8 + PB + Spellcasting Ability modifier, not10 + PB + SAM)
The reason it can be done with a custom action and not an item is because they have not yet added Actions to Magic Items.

It isn’t the Pact of the Blade Pact Boon that allows a Warlock to use their Cha modifier for attack and damage rolls. That is specifically only conferred by the Hexblade‘s Hex Warrior subclass feature. If you add a class feature named “Hex Warrior” to a subclass then it will give you that little checkbox that allows that character to use Cha for that weapon. But you cannot alter the feature name, it must read exactly as “Hex Warrior” for it to work.

Ah, that makes sense, if a little disappointing xd
I used 10 to give an effect similar to a +2 weapon, but I can create the custom action for that fairly easily I think, thank you for the advice
While I'm here I might as well get some more advice; I've been thinking about homebrewing a race, is there a way to use class features as race features without having to spec them all myself? I saw you mentioned the Hex Warrior trait below (or above), does that work for all traits?

Nope. You would have to spec them yourself. Even Hex Warrior only works as a class feature AFAIK, not as a racial trait.

So sorry. So I gave the Hex Warrior trait like you said and it worked like a charm. The only issue now is that on weapons with the two handed property it doesn't work. I know that originally a warlock needs the pact of the blade for this.
I tried to add proficiencies to the hex warrior. I even added ignore two handed weapon properties to hopefully get it. But it still doesn't work.
I think the item is good, I just cannot get the thrown range (20/60) to display on the item correctly, it's either missing entirely or (5/5), it's probably something obvious, but if somebody could just point it out that would be great.
For reference I have tried;
Weapon Property - Thrown - Fixed Value: 20
Weapon Property - Range - Fixed Value: 20
Weapon Property - Range - Fixed Value: 20, Weapon Property - Range - Fixed Value: 60

It is not possible to alter a weapon’s base range at all. You will have to find something with the correct range and damage and reskin it.
