Velmine hands the Rapier of Warning back to Eiren, thanks him for the loan. Then she retrieves her dagger that she threw uselessly at the golem.
Then the party goes down the stairs and through the double doors to the next room. Then Eiren opens up the white gate and Velmine retrieves her golem.
You return to the room with the bright lights (that was dark while you fought), only to find that the lights are back on but not as bright. You enter the room again.
Where do you go from here? Through the White Gate to the south, or back through the White Gate to the west and through the double doors leading westward?

After 2 rounds if you are still in the room (I'm assuming that you won't need more than two rounds), yhe lights become very bright again and you all will need to roll a Con save DC 13 or be Blinded
Velmine make a DC 12 Perception check. (If she fails everyone else can make a DC 15 Perception check.)
Note: Eiren has been hit pretty hard if someone has so healing.

Eiren calls his rapier back to his hands so that Velmine doesn't need to make the effort. It vanishes from Velmine's grasp, and rematerializes in Eiren's hand.
"Thank you for the healing, Baik. I'm afraid that golem did something to me, though." Despite Baik's healing, Eiren still has a massive bruise all along his left side. It's sensitive to the touch, and didn't respond to the Healing Light.
(Eiren's hit point maximum has been reduced from 63 hp to 48. thanks to Baik, he is now at his (reduced) maximum hp)
"I don't like this Doomvault," Eiren says, as he makes haste with the others towards the southern exit. "It still feels like a big puzzle that we don't have a key to. We still need to find a way to get into the Temples of Extraction, where Syranna said was the heart of the phylactery. But we're no closer to finding a way through."
"We just have to keep pushing on till we find something. There has to be a way there it's just probsbly not very obvious on the map." Xavier muses as he heads outs the south side with the party

“I’ve been thinking about that. The obvious way in would be a black gate, like the ones on the map Syranna gave us. This would mean that we need a key attuned to a zone in the Temples of Extraction...unless there’s some way of traversing the black gates without a key?”
Eiren purses his lips. “Perhaps we should try and subdue the next red wizard that we find, and apply some...selective diplomacy. There has to be some way to get there.”
Eiren and Corvin both observe that the golem is getting a little bit stronger. With a successful DC 12 Arcana check you can put 2 and 2 together and realize that the golem can be healed in this room when the lights are subdued.

"The light from the pillars heals your clay golem, Velmine," says Eiren. "If you order it to remain in the light, it should be able to be fully repaired."
Eiren will use the runes to try and keep the lights at the "subdued" level while Clay is healed. Then he will bring everyone through the white gate. He will suggest that we head through the southwest passage, where the pillar is.
Eiren is able to control the light pillars enough to bring the golem up to full health. (I changed the Post Encounter Summary again) and then leads the party through the White Gate. He decides to go up the stairs first and stoping just shy of entering the room sees...
A statue of an angelic female stands on a raised dais in the center of this chamber, the walls of which glow dimly with golden light.
Six cracked pillars support the crumbling ceiling, each carved in its lower portions to resemble a four-armed gargoyle shrieking in rage.
"5 gold that angel statue comes to life and attacks us" Xavier whispers. "But if it does, maybe it's guarding a key to the black gate. If it's not alive we should search it" He then suggests

If everyone is amenable, Eiren would first like to approach the black gate. He wants to first try applying multiple glyph keys to one black gate to see what happens.

As Eiren enters the room heading for the Black Gate, the pillar in 5 I15 becomes alive as the lower part of the pillar (that looks like a four-armed gargoyle) detaches from the pillar and a four-armed gargoyle flies over to attack Eiren. As the gargoyle detaches from the pillar stones and plaster fall from the ceiling around the pillar. Any square within 5 feet of I15 is difficult terrain.

Eiren is in L10 and the four-armed gargoyle is directly above him as it attacks with a Bite Attack: 10 Damage: 7 piercing, and two Claw Attack: 5 Damage: 5 slashing and Attack: 19 Damage: 6 slashing.
The Bite and the 1st claw attacks would have hit Eiren but he casts Shield to prevent being hit.

I just edited the post ecounterer summary to include Baik healing Eiren.

Eiren opens the southern White Gate and when everyone is through you see that you are in a small T shaped hallway.
To the west there is a short stairway leading up to a dimly lit room, but your view is blocked by a pillar.
To the south you can hear the sounds of labor coming from the room ahead. At the entrance to the room is a glowing archway.
Eiren which way do you want to explore first?
