Not going to have a monk, they already did the Way of Mercy Monk.
There will be a Fighter, Rogue, and Wizard, which we discovered through the process of elimination.
They also fairly recently did the Psionics UA, where they had the Psychic Warrior Fighter, Soulknife Rogue, and Psionic Wizard, and a few people think that they'll redo these, but I disagree. It's been too soon, and I don't think they'll redo it.
A lot of the recent UA have been "planar" themed. If the Xanathar's 2.0 book is Planescape, or planar themed in any way, I'd say the following options are possible:
Fighter, an Elemental Warrior, or Radiant Knight (like a paladin, but no spells).
Rogue, Infernal Stalker, or Bounty Hunter.
Wizard, Limbo Mage (mix of Transmutation and Conjuration schools mix) or Manipulation Mage (Enchanting and Illusion schools mix).
What do you guys think of my ideas?

I hated the Way of Mercy Monk, but I guess it still counts lol
I like the idea of an Elemental fighter of some kind. Maybe they can add damage to their attacks and gain resistances based on which elemental plane they are attuned to? Maybe they can change these out during a rest?
A planes hopping Bounty Hunter sounds cool, but I can't think of what abilities they would have that would fit the theme. It may be easier to come up with abilities for the Infernal Stalker.
Wizards already have soooo much and are so versatile that I can't think of much that would be "new" :/ I would say a proper summoner/conjurer would fit the Planar theme, but like I said, that is pretty much covered.

Elemental Fighter would speak Primordial, be able to each day attach itself to one of the elemental planes, getting resistance to one type of damage and an additional 1d4 damage of the plane he is bound to for the day. Later get the ability to be immune to those damage types, deal more damage, possibly summon elementals?
I don't think Bounty Hunter Rogue will likely come, but it would be cool. Kind of themed like the Horizon Walker Ranger, but people will complain about it being too similar. Infernal Stalker would probably have fire and poison resistance, do fire damage, make contracts, and stuff like that.
Wizards do have a ton of subclasses, more than any other class including all the Wildemount subclasses, but they still should get more, and will. We have 12 Wizard Subclasses, and 2 recent UA subclasses (Onoumancer, and Psionic Wizard). I want a better summoner wizard (Conjurer fills the role, but doesn't do a great job at it, Necromancer is better for summoning allies). A hypnotist wizard would be cool as well.

yes but let us go even further than that, if we are to create an new summoner wizard, we should make it specifically tied to the lower planes, and it should have an swell 6th level feature that buffs all fiends you can summon, the closest we have to an evil wizard archetype is the necromancer.
speaking of necromancers, the divine soul is an excellent choice for players who want to do the whole necromancer playstyle but does not want to play another wizard since they have acess to wish, metamagic, sorcery points, animate dead, create undead, finger of death and all sorts of other stuff that is good for creating an large but not nessesarily strong undead army, but what if we got an sorcery option all about the necromancy and death and evil? would not that be neat?
also on the topic of evil spells that are evil, there should be an way for wizards and other arcanists to summon and bind yugoloths to their will easily, they are the third most common type of fiend and they are the only type of fiend that wants to serve a master. I think it should work somewhat like a mixture between planar ally and infernal calling, and it should be called something like "hire yugoloth" or whatever, and you mut pay them in gold, possibly every turn or just make an sucessful charisma check to control them, or possibly the spell alows enemies to bribe your yugoloths to their side? who knows.
hypnotist is an neat idea, as is manipluation mage, but they are so incredebly similar to illusion and enchantment, i mean enchanter already has hypnotic gaze (an fantastic feature by the way) and so i dont think such an mage will ever come out, but who knows, a lot of weird, niche subclasses have appeared
how do you all feel about an possible wizard subclass that allows for spells normally not on the wizard spell list, such as an subclass that is aligned with the fey and so gets conjure animals, or an evil summoning class who gets an special conjure animals where the animals are fiends instead? an subclass that might be able to cast create water or an special medicianal wizard who has an way to heal people with spells despite not being an proper healer? would such an subclass ruffle too many feathers? perhaps an subclass all about learning strange exotic spells from extraplanar entities, were if an particular spell is within the innate spellcasting of an creature whose CR is lower than your level you might be able to add their spell to your spellbook with enough bargaining?

personally I think Sposta's prediction is accurate. Assuming the virus hasn't slowed anything down on their end we should find out soon enough, right?

It's ok Ranger, you'll always be cool to me.. Unless druid gets another use for its wild shape charges.
The one in January was called “Unearthed Arcana 2020 Subclasses, Part 1” That psionic Fighter, Rogue, Wizard UA came out first, at the end of 2019. I simply find it way too coincidental that the “Part 4” everyone is waiting for would theoretically contain Subclasses for the exact same three classes.
well since the process of new UA articles is more or less "jeremy crawford or some other member of the design crew comes up with an new idea and somebody is tasked with comming up with game mechanics" there is an likely chance that it could go ether way, fighter wizard and rouge are only three classes, so if there was an equal chance of them comming up with an concept for any given class levi is likely to loose, but since no such ideas have come from the three classes in a bit it might be a little easier to do, i dont know
also here is an fun idea for an sourcebook that will probably never happen: acererak's guide to NPC magic, it cointains ways (balanced ways) for an player to turn into a lich (presubably by slowing experience point rewards), rules for creating certain constructs and spells for summoning things you normally cannot summon like hell hounds and spectators. Possibly also including templates for making liches or vampire lords from other stat blocks and possibly also guidelines and advice on how the template may alter an creatures offensive and defensive challenge ratings provided in the template such as "increase effective hit points by this much if x is true" or "add +4 to the creature's effective armor class due to this change", possibly more templates for dragons including an expanded spellcasting template for dragons with at-will spells available, the possibillity for a player to adopt an monster stat block and apply levels to it with an variant rule etc etc, this will never come out but it is something i would defenetly buy if it came out
Yeah, it would be nice for definitive rules on how to turn into a lich, vampire, or demilch. (True Polymorph can turn you into a Demilich, but without DM approval, you can't turn into a lich from there).
The bet is, that I think the next UA will not be the Psionic Subclasses revamped, or if the Fighter, Rogue, and Wizard subclasses aren't the next UA, I lose.
Sposta believes that the UA at the end of 2019 are the final 3 subclasses we are waiting for, and doesn't think the UA will contain Fighter, Rogue, and Wizard subclasses at all.

so if literally anything but psionics 2: electric boogaloo happens, you win? that seems like kind of an easy bet actiually, while it would be nice i really dont think it will happen due to the backlash for wizards
