I don't personally care for dragons that much, but I agree that it should've been a pretty early addition. Granted, with the Genie being official, the "elementalist" warlock slot has been filled, but more options is always better, and dragons have a completely different flavor from true elementals.
I'm honestly more shocked that there isn't a draconic barbarian. a dragon's wrath seems like such an easy thing to work into the barbarian's toolkit.

It's ok Ranger, you'll always be cool to me.. Unless druid gets another use for its wild shape charges.
I think there should be more elemental warlock patrons, as the Genie specifically only covers genies, but I agree with most everything else said.
Yeah, a Primordial Warlock would be a cool idea. That and a Primal Warlock that gets it’s pact from a Primal Spirit, powerful Druid or other nature based creature.

Deep wood magic warlock would be awesome. I had a few ideas for patrons that would probably be Archfey at the moment, but definitely fit a more nature-oriented skill list over that.

speaking of potential warlock patrons, ether some santa claus like entity or "the ghost of christmas past/ present/ future" could probably make for an nifty home brew or official patron especially since the season is neigh. Perhaps you can have some kind of healing mechanic that can be used an unlimited number of times but that a creature can only receive once per long rest and extra synergies with pact of the talisman the way hex blade has extra synergies with pact of the blade, bonus proficiency in artisan's tools, the ability to make non magical items quickly etc. Not as much of a no-brainer as a dragon warlock would be but still something i think some would be interested in

I've been reading through some of the earlier posts in this thread. Lot's of interesting stuff there. It started out discussing psionics, then a bit of warlock-fixing, then turned into a discussion about having more Elemental Sorcerers, which then resulted in me making a Mud Sorcerer subclass, and then a discussion on other UA stuff.
Good times. Good times.
Edit: Also, apparently there were a few subclasses that we managed to predict would be coming out. I predicted the Armor-focused artificer, summon fiend, and the Shadowfell-rogue, someone else predicted a fey-ranger, and Sposta called the Subclasses Part 4 being the psionic subclasses.
It's been a month and 5 days since the last UA. If there's not one within the next week, I'm assuming there's not going to be one for the rest of the year, and probably for awhile after that as well.
I would love a new UA, but I'm not sure what they would do. They've already playtested two UA of subclasses that weren't in Tasha's, and there's no Xanathar's 3.0 coming out anytime soon, so they are unlikely to do subclasses. They almost never playtest magic items anymore, unless they're a unique concept like the Magic Tattoos. They don't seem to do races in UA anymore, never do backgrounds, and are unlikely to do vehicles.
The three most common things that come out in UA now are classes, subclasses, and spells. They don't even playtest all of the spells and subclasses that appear in books in UA, as a lot of the spells from Tasha's were never playtested in UA, and the three subclasses in Explorer's Guide to Wildemount never were in UA.
Possible upcoming books are a Ravenloft/Innistrad campaign setting book, due to the subclasses part 4 of this year, and a Draconomicon, due to subclasses part 5 of this year. I don't think it's likely that they will redo the most recent UA this month, as it just came out. I also don't think it's likely for them to do the Spirits Bard and Undead Warlock again unless there's a major revision to them (like changing which class they are granted to), which isn't likely, IMO.
So, the most likely outcome, IMHO, is that we're not going to get a UA for awhile, and we're definitely not going to get as much UA as we used to. We won't get subclasses unless they're for a new setting book (which I think we've already seen the UA for), we won't get a new class unless they decide to make a Psion class for Dark Sun (which I find unlikely), and and we are unlikely to get new spells or magic items playtested unless they are an entirely new, unique idea reserved for a special book (which is not impossible, but isn't something we can predict).
Let's wait and see for a week, but if December 8 passes without any new UA, I'm assuming that we are going to have a long while until our next UA.
For a more complex race like Thri-kreen, I feel like it could really benefit from playtesting in UA.
hard agree on that Thri-kreen would need playtesting, extra arms can be quite difficult to account for since if they use the same existing rules as other player characters a 5th level tri kreen of any proper matrial class could make one attack with a two-handed weapon and one attack with a light weapon with the attack action on their turn and still benefit from two-weapon fighting, or weild a two handed weapon, a shield and a spellcasting focus at once, it is hard to gauge just how much more potent extra arms is or if the extra pair of arms should be treated differently like an loxodon's trunk, plus you would have to decide if you want to give them innate psionics or not, if you are going to give them an unarmed bite attack and poison, and how to treat that, how you are going to treat their natural armor etc

Full agree as well. I see it similar to the Warforge UA. While I dislike intensely that they removed the sub-races, I do feel the race came out better balanced with feedback.
Yeah, it's not unthinkable that they would do Thri-Kreen in the UA, but I'm not convinced that they are going to if they're doing Dark Sun. They might not want to give away the fact that they're doing Dark Sun, so they might just playtest it with their normal playtest groups.

I'd honestly want someone to do (probably unfeasible) a study comparing a subclass that was put exclusively through UA and the same if it was only tested by professional devs.

It's been more than a month since the last UA was released.
I would like to see more draconic player options in the game, like Draconic spells, a Dragon patron Warlock, and so on.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms
I hope for more dragon themed subclasses. Maybe we will finally get a draconic warlock.
Yeah. That should have been a "duh" warlock for them. So many people (including me) have had to make homebrew versions of it because WotC hasn't yet.

Hoping for a new UA soon. Maybe they've been busy with Tasha's but it seems like there's only been one lately.
Please check out my homebrew and give me feedback!

There are a few races I want to see come back in 5e like Thri-Kreen, Mul, Shardminds, and Wilden. Seeing these in UA would be so cool.
