I'm not saying about that. More just they would be opposed to choosing just one element.
Yet they presented the Wildfire Druid subclass in a UA and it seems fairly popular. If you are going to have a Fire Druid, is seems reasonable to have Druids of the other elements as well.
I really loved the flavor for the "Wildmagic" Barbarian subclass and the Wildfire Druid subclass and would love to see a polished and official version of each of those.
I love wildfire druid, would also like a druid that can change to into elementals
Isn't that covered already in the Circle of the Moon Druid's "Elemental Wildshape" feature?

Mostly. Is like to see something lower level and can turn into more creatures with the elemental type like salamanders and the like.
Genie Warlock - the latest revision was simply fantastic.
"Path of the Wild Soul" Barbarian - ultimately, a fun concept, and likely subject to revision for a final product.
"Way of the Astral Self" Monk - perhaps the most interesting monk subclass since the Long Death.
"Rune Knight" Fighter - I play-tested this one for several sessions...it holds up VERY well. Little gnome becomes BIG gnome is hilarious, as well.
Psionic Soul Sorcerer - while I liked the eeriness of the "Aberrant Mind", the "Psionic Soul" could easily include the concept, and is simply more flexible with character concepts...but the new damn psionic mechanics are too convoluted to be lumped together with sorcerer point mechanics. Needs more work. I LIKE the concept; but it needs work...perhaps merging the scrapped "Psionic Wizard" subclass in some way.
"Twilight Domain" Cleric - I like cosmic domains, travel domains, gothic domains, and stalwart defenders against the darkness...this cleric domain scratched nearly every fringe-cleric concept I'd enjoy. Maybe tweak the mechanics, but I like how this is the inverse of a "Light Domain"...you don't burn the darkness away; you adapt to it. When the night is dark & full of terrors...bring this cleric.
"Circle of Stars" Druid - I'm torn between the Wildfire Druid subclass...but I love where the Stars Druid works within the cosmology. Their "Starry Form" just evokes a more ethereal, interesting concept.
"Phantom" Rogue - I believe the latest revision is stronger than the previous "Revived" subclass.
"Armorer" Artificer - very good. A perfect fit.
"Scribe Wizard" - y'all wanted that Lore Wizard back pretty badly...now you get an awakened spellbook. I say shuffle some of those subclass abilities around a bit; but otherwise, this is pretty neat stuff.
"Fey Wanderer" Ranger - everything about this subclass is fantastic...limited psychic smites, some decent boosts to the social encounters, an interesting way to use reactions, and a unique "invisibility" for higher levels of play that suits a tricky, fey character.
Side-Note: While the "Eloquence" Bard saw an official release (and is fantastic), I would propose taking this quirky "Wild Card" Rogue subclass and somehow taking it's features and applying them to a Bard...it seems a better fit: Many of the mechanics suit a showman, magician, or gambler that a bard would naturally be.
I would love to see Rune Knight and Stone Sorcerer get in.
I would also like to see a spell creation rule set get published. That would go a long way to fixing alot of the thematic spell casting concepts without each one getting a specific sub class.
The starting abilities for Ranger from the 2019 UA. I've been playing that Variant for a few months now and I would love to see that option here on D&D Beyond as well as available as a regular starting option.

Pretty much all of those and that Path of the Beast barbarian, then lets not forget those optional class options as well as the change to racial ability scores which hasn't seen a UA. I hope that we can get reprinted rules on vehicles all in one book, all those summoning spells, there are things I have forgotten though.
Not from UA but if we get more vehicles, I'd love some explicitly magitek ones.
I'd also like to see an update to the armorer to drop the weapons and extra attack and focus on melee spell attack and ranged spell attacks. With the level 5 giving some bonus for that.
Abberant Mind not the thing we have now, Rune Knight and Order of Scribes. I can't stress this enough bring back the Abberant Mind, mucous and all it stands way above the thing it got replaced with, which is just another bland and boring psy/sorcerer wannabe.
The ranger class feature variant for Hunters Mark, removing the need for concentration. At the moment a two-weapon-fighting Ranger will burn through all of his spellslots in a single fight just trying to keep Hunters Mark active.
Yeah, we better get the Class Feature Variants UA in Xanathar's 2.0
I think we will get those and the new racial rules as well as much more in that unnamed unannounced book to be released later in the year around November I figure. Maybe even lots of sub-classes put in it.
EDIT
Well Crawford stated that the Drow and Orcs will be updated in an upcoming unannounced book that along with the rather expansive class options UA could really point to a book that is basically D&D 5.5 edition. This would basically grant a revised Ranger with those options. Include the new summoning spells with rules dictating said spells replace the old ones. Then put in it the Psionic rules (classes/feats) and some other stuff like reprint Artificer with all subclasses including Armorer.
That's..... an interesting thought. What if they are going to "retire" the PHB, in order to accommodate the new Ranger options, the Artificer, the racial feature variants, the overall class feature variants, and a spell expansion, all in a new book that effectively replaces the PHB in AL games? So instead of PHB + 1 for AL, it will be X2.0 + 1?
I'm not saying about that. More just they would be opposed to choosing just one element.

It would be an easy fix to some of the underlying issues. Like a soft reboot.
She/Her Player and Dungeon Master
The revised Ranger was cancelled because they didn't want to change the class in the players handbook.

"Regarding the revised ranger, I mentioned back in 2017 that we have no plans to release an alternative version of a class. That plan hasn’t changed.
There is one ranger: the one in the Player’s Handbook."
I don't think they'd change that stance
