I'd love to give a future build the Orzhov Representative background, and thought it'd be fun to give a character that doesn't usually get to have access to those spells without multiclassing to do it. Any thoughts?
This is a tough question because the obvious answer is Barbarian or Monk. They don't stack well with others, nor each other... but they don't get spells, so they won't get spells added to their list. And that's a shame, because Path of the Anciestrial Guardian or Zealot is ON POINT for Orzhov... I mean, they don't do barbarians, but still.
And while we're at it, Eldritch Knight, Arcane Trickster, Artificer, Paladin, and Ranger aren't really worth it because you have to wait until levels 9 or 13 to use the spell you want is for the birds.
This leaves us with the full casters in which case I hate to say the answer is Wizard. It's not too WB, but there's no insentive for you to multiclass.
Bard, Sorcerer, and Warlock all love each other so much. It can be hard to not go Coffeelock.
Then Cleric is 100% Orzhov and doesn't gain much from going Druid, but Duid is such a good way to be sneaky, and if you're already maximizing Wis and Con, why not?
Monks don't get spell slots, so having access to spells doesn't benefit them at all.
I would say Bard. Many of the Orzhov Representative spells overlap with the Bard list, but that just translates to extra free spells known so you really aren't losing anything. And if you're playing the character as an actual member of the Orzhov Syndicate, College of Spirits (VGVtR) is a great fit for a preacher that deals with ghosts, and Eloquence and Lore could also easily fit. From a purely mechanical angle, Valor or Swords would benefit greatly from spirit guardians in particular, and could potentially work for an Orzhov enforcer type character as well.
I think Spore Druid is a good candidate. With all of that temp HP (it really is a crap ton), the Spore Druid can hold their own on the front line. The problem is that they don't have much to do once they are there.
The problem with spirit guardians is that it's a melee concentration spell, so you need good con saves and high AC to really take advantage. It's a sufficiently useful buff that a paladin or artificer might still use it, but I can't think of classes it's better for than it is for clerics.

Moon druid seems pretty great too. Cast it, then shift into a large beast and go to town.
