Reskinning anything to become everything you need.
What I mean by this, you can easily reskin a battlemaster to be a psion, having the Superiority Dice be psioinic power reserves, and the maneuvers be telekinetic manipulation.
This is good in theory, but in practice it feels lackluster. WotC should develop real psionic options instead of telling people to reskin stuff.
(don't want to derail discussion, just my 2 cents on this)

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.

Just do this to every class and subclass, so that no matter what you choose you'll be a psion.

Okay, done:
Artificer. Magic is just psionics, but you can only really manipulate objects with these psioinic powers. Infusions are endowing psionic power to enhance items.
Barbarian: Rage is psionic power consuming your body, and making your melee fighting more effective.
Bard: You have to sing to do psionic powers. Literally everything else remains the same.
Clerics: Just psionic, reflavor it.
Druid: Psionics, but you can't wear metal.
Fighter: Psionics, but physical or ranged.
Monk: Psionics already.
Paladin: Psionics, but stricter.
Ranger: Psionics, but worse!
Rogue: Sneaky psionics. This is how you get to hide better, some psionic power nonsense.
Sorcerer: Psionics, but you're born with it/transformed to use it.
Warlock: Psionics, but you have to be a GOOlock with Pact of the Chain.
Wizard: Psionics, but really, really, really not psionics.

All D&D sessions are played like The Sims 3. Motives involving bathroom, food, drink, social needs ("fun"), rest, and cleanliness are now part of D&D and based on in-game time. Money must be strictly managed and called Deindeemoliens. Moods such as embarrassment, pride, anger, etc. are now conditions applied to characters in addition to exhaustion, fear, prone, etc. Ghost is now a playable class but only after a character dies and based on how the character died. Gossip is a hidden mechanic controlled solely by the DM.

Variant Human Champion Fighter with dual wielder feat. Fights with warhammer and sickle. Background, folk hero, that saved his country from tyrannical rulers who were oppressing the people. Founded a new government for the people where resources are shared through the community. Thoughts?

Same thing with Balors and Aarakocras! Just change the language, and they're the same thing
yeah

Dammit Levi, you have no idea how hard I've been restraining myself from saying "Use spells for psionics" this ENTIRE thread!
since this is a BAD ideas thread...doesnt that mean your psionic options idea is a bad one...XD
sorry, i had to
I think that was posted pretty early on.
No, didn't post the idea for it here. A bad idea would be turning this thread into a psionic discussion. (My post was probably a bad idea, then)
Also, I think the battlemaster-psionics thing is a bad idea.

Yeah right...
There is no dawn after eternal night.
Homebrew: Magic items, Subclasses
Also change Dex to STR, and you have a PC Balor
At 10th level or something it would probably make your size Large, but that's later

Parties consisting of 112 players.
Do this as the DM, and have it be forced upon to players
Add rules for scurvy and beriberi. Force players to plan in detail how they're getting balanced diets to prevent both conditions.
Add rules for having a chance that ever time you receive magical healing, it can give you cancer.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

Reminds me of some late 70s/early to mid 80s sci-fi novel where everything is about psychic powers.
Which is really the reason why psionics were awkwardly shoehorned into the game in the first place.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
