There's also been two posts I've seen dated as being made on November 9th 2024. One of them seems to have been deleted since, but the other can be found in the Play-by-Post forum.

EDIT: I did a further count. Eventually they stopped being last active on 11/9/24 instead of 12/18/24 but the total number of time travelling forum members ended on page 67 of the most recently active with 1,670 time travellers!

I'm guessing it has to do with the increased forum and homebrew activity over the past couple days.

As one of the Nov. 9er’s the driver was a member of the men in black, and per Government policy I can not discuss the means of transportation.

    Btw, the jet lag sucks. Fyi buy stock in …..

P.S: but in all seriousness this has proven to be a very serious problem, as it locks anyone affected from posting anything, even PM’s and locks the affected accounts down having to wait to see if this is fixed.

Count me as another who's main account being affected by this weird glitch and now I can't make any posts on that account.

I remembered I had a test account, haven't used this in a while. 🤣

But yeah I had a post dated november 9th, and I tried to delete it to see if that fixed it (probs the post VitusW mentioned)... But nope. I raised a support ticket but they're swamped and until fixed my main is basically unable to post or PM and I don't get notifications.

I didn't realise so many had been affected. 😲 Quite a bit concerning.

I don't about from the future, but I've stopped getting notifications for a few days now. Really frustrating, but apparently private messages are working?

That’s a familiar and common indicator of significant backend changes being compiled and readied for launch.

    Five years later, and it might still be compiling. 

  Just noticed the Forum Member list at the bottom of the Forum main page has all one hundred names with a Date of December 18, 2024 and hasn’t changed once.

  A lot has backed up the system.

The Last Active for my main account has finally stopped showing me active in the future, but I still can't post or anything and still not getting notifications.

Yep same here, timer is fixed but system is still acting like something is broken.

    I wonder how many of the other people who have accounts that had the timer glitch are still on this site?

   If those people are no longer active, or for some reason can’t get into the account, could that possibly still cause a stall in the messaging system?

    The longer this continues the more likely people who don’t understand what and why this is happening and who might place a support ticket unable to communicate about this will become more likely to just walk off the site and prevent the system from getting fixed.

     I even noticed the Main page of the Forum listing the various subsection Forums has had the same number of Threads per subforum. It’s been stuck in this way since the uproar, and was the one way to be able to see if a new topic was starting.  
     
    Someone somewhere messed with a segment of site code and broke it, and probably didn’t even save the former code in case something happened, and now several parts and numerous users are stuck having to create alt accounts in order to get any communication done.

    Are the dev teams still working on getting this all fixed, or we have to just wait till the site overhaul is done before we ever have the ability to use our Main Account to inform others and continue any PbP games and conversations that we were in before this happened?

Any news on this? It seems to be the same event that froze post notifications and email notifications.

No, there haven't been any improvements from what I have seen. Notifications are still not working and my main account is still borked.

Just posting that I am still affected, and it's getting very annoying now. This should be fixed by now. My main account is effectively banned without doing anything wrong, due to a glitch. C'mon.

Is time beginning to flow again? Is this curse truly lifted...?

Notifications are caught up for me, and I had a few hundred.

Got a LOT of emails about it, over 100 of those as well, that were all backed up.

The notification issue seems to be resolved, but I and many others still can't make posts on our accounts (I'm currently using a secondary account).

As there been any word on a fix?
