I pay for a membership because I love making so many characters. The one thing I NEED in D&D Beyond is a way to add tags to characters or folders or something so you can sort them.
I know it is not the same. But a possible workaround is to separate your characters into 'groups' by using a special character at the start of their name. That way, when you sort by name, they are somewhat ordered. And special characters are easier to "ignore" when reading the name than eg. "My folder/".
Use it or ignore it =0)
Note that using non-alphanumeric characters in Usernames OR character names can mess up access to the character sheets in some circumstances.
The ability to make homebrew content for existing lists, like Fighting Styles, Battle Maneuvers, Metamagic options, Eldritch Invocations and Pact Boons. Could easily work like the current homebrew spells do.
Features from official content that function as intended: The Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul both say they have swappable spells, but you can't actually swap them in D&D Beyond.
More customization for character sheets, like changing a weapon's properties, or what ability or dice an actions or spell uses, etc..
Support for homebrew equivalents of hard-coded features like Hex Warrior. Users should be able to recreate anything that is an official part using the editor.
It would be really nice, since we pay for the source material, to be able to save it offline for reference, you know, so we only need to buy it once (not pay for online and pay again for hardcopy).

More Artificer Archetypes! Specifically we could roll with the sort of theme going on right now. We could look at each Artisan’s Tool and create an archetype for it. Most of the current get Smith’s Tools, and they all get Tinker’s and Thieves, but other than that there is a tool that can be recognized as specific to that archetype. Alchemist’s Supplies for Alchemist. Smith’s for Battle Smith. Leatherworker’s/Smith’s for Armorer. Woodcarver’s/Smith’s for Artillerist.
I would love there to be one that revolved around Tinker’s Tools for all those Rock Gnome inventor’s out there, in fact we could call it “Inventor”.
Or one that specialized in Cooking, a “Chef” or “Culinarian”.
I don’t think writing wouldn’t really make sense for an artificer, especially since we have the Order of the Scribes wizard archetype, but maybe I’m wrong.
We could have one that specialized in Mason’s tools and revolved around rune’s, a “Runecarver”, possibly portals, possibly minor Stone Golem’s. This may clash with Rune Knight’s however.
Or one that specialized in Thieve’s Tool’s. A “Locksmith”. Good luck with features.
4 is not enough where there are somewhere around 10 for every other.
1. The ability to homebrew vehicles. I know I can just use the monster homebrew page to do that, but I still want a separate page for them.
2. A simpler and less stressful homebrew design (Especially for subclasses/races). I get easily stressed out by a lot of things, and too many unnecessary and seemingly complex choices is one of them.
It would be nice for the wizards and warlocks that have familiars to be able to manage that as part of their character sheet and not rely on the PHB for the stats.

This is already a feature under extras. There's even a category for familiars
I would love a chat feature where you can IM with the entire party or individuals from the character sheet page or really any dndbeyond page. I know there's messages and an inbox. But having the chat pop up or be minimized in the same window like Facebook messenger would be awesome. As a DM, if one of my players makes a perception check and sees something that the other players don't, instead of texting them it would be cool to have it all in one place and they wouldn't have to leave their character sheet.
We need the ability to manage hit dice outside of taking a Short Rest. I expended a Hit Die outside of a Short Rest by having Wither and Bloom cast and I just have to remember it.
Honestly, the thing I want most from D&D Beyond is more moderator involvement and more communication with the community. When Developer Updates went away, one of the major ways D&DB communicated with their users vanished and I know many feel that it has not been properly replaced.
Additionally, I don't want one specific feature to be added, but I do want significant improvements to the site to be made so that it feel like the website is being updated a lot instead of just being maintained.
Or have an option when either creating a character or creating a campaign that can set what the max level will be.
I have a campaign design where multi-classing is a must, and the combined number of levels can be in the hundreds accross several classes, but D&D Beyond has a cap of 20 and the system won't let me go over it.

because there are no official rules for going over level 20, and Beyond is bound to respecting the rules as they are written.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
Physical Magic Item cards with a QR code to a "hidden item". E.g. it says "A Sword" go to this QR code to identify it further. Then there is a webpage that the DM can set (even if it's only one of that item type at a time: one sword, one bow, one staff, etc.). They can say "Identify" and then it will animate and present that it's a "Frostbrand" sword, etc. and then they can add it to their inventory in DnD Beyond.
The DM might want to be able to lock the page from indentification until they're sure the players have done enough to identify the item.
Extra bonus: allow the player to add the unidentified item to their inventory and have it trigger all it's effects without identifying what the item is so players can discover it as they go.
Extra Extra bonus: let the DM specify what parameters need to be triggered to discover the item (e.g. you did extra frost damage and you put out natural fires when you drew the sword. Now you know it's called "Frostbrand" and here's all the things it can do). e.g. 3 of 5 unique things (different from a basic sword) that need to be observed before it's identified.
I made a post about this, but I am happy to scream it from the top of a mountain. I would like to see which books I own at a glance so I dont have to click through every single damn book to see if I own it.
Also, I would like for the books to have a search window like a document so I can search for a phrase, a word or a string of words.
How about the homebrew overhaul we've been waiting for since.. like 2018-2019... you know, for simple features like homebrew classes (not just subclasses) and custom grouping for homebrew races/subraces to work together.. it's only been on the roadmap for planned features for roughly.. I dunno.. 5 years now.. ish?
Note that using non-alphanumeric characters in Usernames OR character names can mess up access to the character sheets in some circumstances.

This thread is for requesting improvements to the website, not the game. You’ll have to contact WotC for those kinds of suggestions about subclasses.

Honestly, two things.
MY INFO
1) the ability for the dm to create a hidden character so that they can build encounters that feature them without revealing them to the players
2) the ability to build maps(world, city, and dungeon).
It would be nice for the wizards and warlocks that have familiars to be able to manage that as part of their character sheet and not rely on the PHB for the stats.

Encounter Builder that would allow toggling numbered foes vs lettered foes for multiple fighters.
6E getting close yet?
