Hi All, What I would like to see, is either some advice on how to manage Campaign notes - public / private, or additional windows/ pages - tabbed maybe - How too etc.
Can the </> handle code to create expandable sections, would be quite unweidly to edit, but to use in gameplay this could help? I haven't tried it yet - thought I would ask first!! I suppose I could setup a web site on my computer and just link it there...hmm.. learning..
Have you just straight up give up on the encounter builder? It crashes consistently when switching between creatures and has done so pretty much since it first came out. If you have abandoned it, then just say it will not be taken out of alpha.
This is symptomatic of the entire website which is absolutely riddled with partially implemented features and half built things.

This whole site feels like abandonware, it's wild how much money WOTC spent on it and are clearly spending nothing to improve it
What I'd like to see most is in the ability to make parts of the description and note sections of a character's page be visible to other players. I'd like to be able to see the physical description of my fellow party members and be able to share my backstory easily if I wish.
Ability to buy discontinued claimable content like Spelljammer Academy.
I missed the boat on that one — wasn’t tuned in to my feed — and while I can certainly find it online if I wanted to, I would be willing to pay money to add it to my DDB collection.
Something I noticed as missing from dnd beyond but was in my physical player's handbook was options on the background features (specialties) take sage for instance on dnd beyond you only have the researcher available as opposed to having Alchemist, Astronomer, Discredited Academic, Librarian, Professor, Researcher, Wizard's apprentice and Scribe to choose from in the physical copy. It'd be nice to have access to all the specialties for the backgrounds.
you have to have purchased or shared digital copies of those books to gain access to those things. Join a West Marches Campaign and you can gain that access, change your background and then leave the campaign if you wish.
I did purchase a digital copy of the player's handbook and I still don't see where I can change the specialization on the background. I can change the background itself but not the specialization...
The specialization doesn’t affect the background feature at all, it’s still just Researcher for all of them. The specialization is just for flavor, nothing more, so there’s nowhere to choose that.
This is not correct. Even if a sheet is set to public or campaign the Description and notes sections are both not visible to other players. This is what I want to have be made able to be toggled on. Public and campaign just change if people can view your character's sheet but limits it to actions, features and traits, inventory, and extras but no other tabs.
The thing I want most in DnD Beyond at the moment is a clear roadmap/timetable for features/bugs being worked on, and then consistent updates (monthly?) to this roadmap, similar to most successful Kickstarter projects, video games, etc.
Maybe I'm not looking in the right spot. I feel like communication on what's coming, what's being worked on, what isn't on the agenda for whatever reason (clockwork soul), the communication is incredibly minimal to non-existent.
I would like to have folders for my characters. It would be really convenient to have some customizable way of sorting them. And a folder structure would be most convenient IMO.

if your character sheet is set to campaign or public. the party can view every tab of your character sheet includign your background and description
To those who are about to Die. We salute you!
Allowing other players to see the entire character sheet, with Background and everything, and vice-versa
Also I would like more classes as well
Ability to buy discontinued claimable content like Spelljammer Academy.

Please and thank you!

set your character sheet to public. done.

integration of third-party classes/campaigns from published games that use 5e rules and more
join a campaign, do a homebrew. even on a free membership you are not limited to your classes.
this has been answered hundreds of times. Set your sheet to public in your campaign. Problem solved.

The ability to buy extra character slots as a one-time purchase rather than locking it behind a subscription.
