I've tried making homebrews myself. But there's one, in particular, I need help with. I found it on Reddit and have fallen in love with it. Could someone please help me? Or at least point out a skilled homebrew maker?
Looks like simple enough text and a few things here or there. Those saves in Cut Through the Fat and King Hit might be troublesome because it's either a DEX save or a STR save and I don't think ddb homebrew can support that mechanically. It could just be text with a decent enough snippet to display the appropriate save DC, I.e. {{savedc:str, dex}}.
Just a word of warning - it was touched on in the reddit thread but not stated outright, this subclass will have issues with defense. It's built to go STR instead of DEX, but there's no compensation for the AC loss. There's a reason that every class that is potentially STR-based gets medium armor at the least. Seeing as how this also needs CHA, that means DEX and CON are both tertiary stats which means your rogue will likely have worse AC and HP than even a regular rogue. Which would be fine except being tough is supposed to be the whole schtick here.
So while you're transferring it over, you may want to address this. Medium armor proficiency is probably enough. Maybe you could swap out one of the granted weapon proficiencies for this.
