I am try to make a homebrew subclass and I need to be able to add more 'reactions'. It is a defensive build and I want to ability to use multiple reactions to be able to parry multiple times per turn.
Sanity. It would make you see things that aren't there or be just generally unhinged. It can range from mental illness like anxiety all the way to clinically unsafe

I'm fry, and I make doodles. That's why they call me FRY DOODLES. Also no pressure but check out my YouTube channel (Fry Doodles) I'm a disabled, neurodivergent, artsy dumpster fire who's always open to chat. I'm a sensitive little sad bean, and somewhat of a clown. But, I'm also god's favorite princess and the most interesting girl in the world. Crafter of Constellations, vocaloid enjoyer, waluigi’s #1 fan, space alien, princess-of-quite-a-lot, and certified silly goose
I would like to be able to create a feat that functions like the Hex Warrior from The Hexblade, being able to choose any ability and affecting the attack roll and damage roll.
Also when setting a damage modifier being able to use the ability bonus to calculate the bonus damage instead of having to use a set bonus. Or having a Damage Subtype for the bonus Modifier Type, similar to how Eldritch Blast bonus damage works. i.e Modifier Type -> Damage Modifier Subtype -> Piercing Ability Score -> CHA Adds a bonus of CHA modifier to piercing damage rolls.
or

Has a way to add spell slots been added to Homebrew or are we still forced to use work-arounds?
There is still no modifier for this, but it's not like the workaround is really complicated; you just need to tell the player to give themselves one or more spell slots back. This is essentially how Arcane Recovery has always worked for the Wizard; tick off the feature, give yourself back some spell slots. Done.

Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
Can we get "Speed (Earth Glide)" added to the Modifier Subtype for Homebrew Items? It has "Speed (Burrow)", but Earth Glide and Burrow are distinctly different skills, with Burrow being the more limited one being something you can dig through like sand, earth, mud, or ice (i.e., it does not allow for movement through stone) while Earth Glide allows movement through nonmagical, unworked earth and stone. While the latter tends to be a monster trait, there are circumstances in which a DM might create an attunable item that gives PC that power (e.g., an earth genasi warlock with an ancestral genie patron receiving a gift from their patron)
It would be nice to be able to not only add Artifact properties as listed in the DMG (I've found others that have metioned this0 but also have the ability to add a minor property such as Guardian or Harmonious for example that many are familiar with from AL play.
We need to be able to designate a Homebrew Feat as an Origin Feat (not just put a tag on it), so that it appears in the Feats list for things like Humans at Character Creation.
I doubt this thread is still being checked since Stormknight is no longer on staff at DDB, but just in case: Choose Weapon Mastery, grant Kensei ability. The latter is literally a modifier in the Kensei Monk's features, but cannot be selected outside of the already-granted modifier.
I'd like the ability to adjust the reach of a weapon. Possibly in the customization tab after adding the weapon to your equipment, or in homebrew by going to "modifiers", adding "weapon property", adding the "reach" weapon property, and in the same modifier under "fixed value" putting in the range in feet or something like that.

Just add an Action with limited uses and set it to Reaction. The player would still have to manually uncheck the boxes every round, but it would work.

I tried. I give up. I'll send "The WAY of the FEROCIOUS KITTEN" to anyone that wants to try to create.
I’ll give it a try
My Brews:
Race: Tropical Dwaves Spells: Summon Spirits Rites of Mummification
Monster: Osprey Feat: Skill Mastery–Animal Handler (Provides DCs for training animals applicable to those with and without this feat)

Is it possible to add a modifier that increase all ranged weapon attacks damage. Just like you can with damage - melee weapon attacks? :D

I would really like to see adding spell or pact slots

Be able to add a modifier as a Bonus Action or Reaction.

Hello All. I would like to request to add the ability to set ranges under the Thrown Property bonus instead of the set 5/5.
Definitely the ability to set Range for a weapon.
Additionally, a simpler way to link your existing homebrew items within another homebrew item (like other tooltips)
Add "Ammunition" to Weapon Type category so we can design custom ammunition.
Recently returned to D&D after 20+ years.
Unapologetic.
