Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Potatoe launcher's Wand : Everytime you say the word Cheap, the wand summons & launches a number of potatoes equal to your Wisdom modifier. The size of the potatoes will always be twice bigger than your head size. The maximum launching distance is 100 ft. The launched potatoe always seeks for a target to be smacked. The target must roll a Dexterity ( Acrobatics ) check; on a success, the target avoids being smacked on that turn but, dosen't exempt him/her being the new victim again. On a failed roll, the victim gets smacked on his/her face with the potatoe, doing 4d8 of force damage. The launched potatoe ignores those "possible victims" being 3/4 part covered or totally covered ( but that dosen't exempt them, being tracked again ). If the potatoe hits anything different from the tracked target, it destroys in small parts.
Poo lungs devourer : this is a shovel, which always is hungry to devour poo lungs. The wearer of this tool must roll a Wisdom ( Medicine ) check to avoid being infected by the poo lungs's poison. This shovel can be confused by a Mimic most of the times, but the difference is the shovel don't have a soul. Every hour the shovel asks the wearer to devour lungs.

I have become accustomed to this now: my only questions are what is a poo lung and what is the potato avoidance check DC.

Errrrr, the potatoe avoidance check DC is 15.
And about the poo lung....... errrrrrr.... Imagine the poo, and the diferent shapes and ""textures"" it have.... so a poo lung is like if you are pooing an entire tree branch ( sorry for being so scatologic here )
The Travelers Rescue appears as an ordinary length of wood. It is gnarled, and does not look like it has been shaped by humans. To a Detect Magic, it appears to be nonmagical. The Travelers Rescue has a +5 to hit and damage rolls with it, and does not require attunement.
The Travelers Rescue is a strange artifact; it appears to be nonmagical, yet it always seems to finds its way into the hands of endangered wayfarers. The artifact burns like a normal stick, and appears to be destroyed, but actually reappears somewhere else. When someone is attacked by bandits or monsters, they sometimes find that the first stick they pick up to defend themselves strikes true and saves them.

A potion of water breathing that turns everything you breathe into water. Doesn't actually make water breathable.

That depends on what the probable outcome of not jumping off the cliff is.

Yeah. I've definitely DMed campaigns and encounters where jumping off a cliff was the best course of action.

Forcing them to lose, because they grew too arrogant about winning all the time
Not an entirely bad idea all the time, but certainly wrong if you're the one who allowed them to win all the time.
