I would like the ability to create new spendable points in the flavor of ki points and sorcery points. This would allow you to create new subclasses with abilities that use a limited pool of power then create the special abilities and cost of use. Essentially it's just the ability to clone and reskin the existing power pools. Then the ability to add the cost to abilities.
Oh look, someone already said it.
Race/Subclass features that need a point resource are seemingly impossible to recreate, and I don't see why, as things like Sorcery points seemingly don't have a complex backend, as you do have to manually track them. I'm really not sure why this isn't a feature already.
The trouble with limited use actions is that the limited uses are tied to a specific action, not a pool that can be spent by any number of actions. I agree that the ability to create a pool, name it, and then assign costs to other actions would be beneficial.

You mean like the Battle Master Maneuvers? Those were done by having one action track the number of uses (superiority dice) and how many were spent, and the other actions (maneuvers) to track what all they do.

if we're supposed to ask for new features, the fact that there's some convoluted replacement for them shouldn't really matter.
there are ways to do the other suggestions too, can't they all equally settle for a 'workaround'?

It isn’t a “workaround” though, that’s the same way that Sorcery Points, Ki Points, Superiority Dice, Psi Dice, Channel Divinity, Magical Tinkering and Artificer Infusions, Wild Shape, and everything else that has a single pool for multiple uses has been programmed. (Except Magic Items, they get “charges” instead.) That’s just the way class features were programmed.

I would love it if the regular abilities had use buttons that draw from their respective pools automatically, but the need to have the regular abilities reworked belongs in another thread. Paper character sheets work just fine, but the possibility to have resource pools automated is the very essence of the advantage of playing with DDB. It works with spell slots already. If/then statements work in every programming language as far as I am aware, which means that however difficult and/or time consuming it would be, automating the various available resource pools is possible and for many of us, desirable.
Adding a [USE] button would be cool. And it would be cool if class features got “charges” or their equivalents for their pools. And it would be cool if you could just check off a box for “use Ki/Sorcery points as charges” for some of those class features too. And maybe next year or the year after or however long in the future it is when they finally overhaul things it will work that way. Who knows?
But for the foreseeable future, this is the way it works. So while it is useful to leave these suggestions, it does nobody any good to not use the tools currently available to do the things we want the way the system is set up to allow us to do it. It is what it is. Leave the suggestions, take the cannoli. (And by cannoli I mean tips on how to accomplish it now.)
I would like to see the ability to add spell slots.
One of the first I would like to see are more sense types, Ethereal Sight for instance.
I also wanted to be able to select something like magic or spell damage under the resistance and immunities in the homebrew menu. (I have a work around on the character sheet itself at the moment, so it is okay, but I would like it later.)
I read some of these posts and think, but they already have that, then remember to look at the date and realized the site was different back then. Part of the problem with forums, lots of old post clutter.

Some homebrew: Curse Eater and more-hereother- here
I would like to add a modifier with Gods/Godesses affinity. I mean the more you train a friendship with a God/Godess, the more bonuses you earn with those.
Homebrew Supernatural boons + Cult Boons , Homebrew Classes, Homebrew Subraces, Ability to write homebrew adventures & share with people, Madness & Honor stat options in character sheets, Reknown/Piety, MONSTER STATS W/ DICE ROLLER INCLUDED!!!, Ability to add homebrew content to a campaign for player use, and Handouts.

This thread is for requests as to what Modifiers folks want. As in
Modifier: Bonus->Modifier Subtype: Strength->Fixed Value: X
That’s an existing Modifier. That Modifier would increase a character’s Strength score by X up to a cap of 20. What new Modifiers & Subtypes do we need?

And all Homebrew in your “Homebrew Collection” (as well as all homebrew in everyone else’s collections) are automatically shared with everyone in the same DDB campaign with each other.
I'd like a way to modify the saving throws of creatures we create. If we're making an NPC with paladin class levels, or they have a magic item that grants a bonus, there's currently no way to implement a bonus.
You can do this using limited use actions.

A way to add spell slots of any level or number, be it from a feat, item, or boon.
Tried to get around this by granting spells with infinite use, but then you would have to manually count how many times you used it

None of those are Modifiers. Those are requests best left in a completely different thread in a completely different forum:
