Those {{ }} tags will only work in Snippet fields. Use the Description field to give the descriptive... description of the feature, e.g. "can be used a number of times equal to twice your proficiency modifer per long rest." And in the Snippet, "can be used {{2*proficiency}} times per long rest."

I'm looking for a way to increase the martial arts die of a monk up a category for 2 certain feats im creating for monk. Example 1d4 up to a 1d6 etc. How would that be put in a snippet?
I'm trying to make a druid subclass that when you use the Wild Shape feature you gain these abilities but only when in the wild shape form:
You gain darkvision out to a range of 120 feet.
All melee attacks become necrotic in addition to all its other types.
Once per turn whenever you deal necrotic damage to an enemy creature, you regain 2d6 hit points.
Idk how to make it so the character only gets these abilities when in the wild shape form.
this doesn't really have anything to do with snippets; Snippets don't do anything to affect your character mechanically. I suggest you ask this question in its own separate thread in the Homebrew Forum.

Hello currently tryna homebrew a class and wanna know how I'd do something:
Contrary of Armageddon
Feast and Famine: You are able to rejuvinate food no matter how old or make it wither in the space of 3 seconds. Food that has been rejuvenated heals for 1d4+wisdom mod for the next 10 minutes and food that has been withered deals 1d4+wisdom mod poison damage
Freedom and Conquest: You can remove any effect that has psychic impact i.e hypnosis and make them resist psychic damage for the next minute or you can cast shatter centered on a nonmagical object that isn’t being worn or carried.
War and Peace: You gain one extra Hemocraft die against a creature that dealt damage to you for the next minute or you can cast Charm Person (Saving throw is same as your Hemocraft modifier)
Life and Death: You heal one person within 30 ft for Hemocraft die+Proficency bonus+ Hemocraft modifier but you take damage equal to the amount you heal. You can invert the effects of the previous action instead dealing Hemocraft die+Proficency bonus+ Hemocraft modifier or half as much on a successful save then healing yourself for HP equal to the damage .
Spell Save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Hemocraft modifier
Replacing only the things snippet codes (bolded sections), I get:

If I understood you correctly that has nothing to do with snippets. Number of uses is done with Actions. I’m not sure what you mean by “half the modifier” though.
I tried that and it doesn't work. Does it work on snippets?

It only works in snippets. Were you trying to use that somewhere else, like in a Modifier?

I used it for a subclass feature, both in the snippets and description. I simply just typed it just like that, nothing added.

Snippets don’t work in Description fields and snippets are only visible on Character sheets.

Where str is Strength. This would half the strength modifier and round down to the nearest whole number.
