I'm finishing up a compendium, titled Daydreams & Deviants, with some homebrew in a dark comedy vein inspired by some of my favorite LitRPG works, particularly Dungeon Crawler Carl. I'll eventually put this on DMs Guild when I'm finished (and link on the corresponding forum, which will be a pay what you want, including free option), but I plan to keep everything maintained on here as well for anyone to use. I've done some playtesting with my groups, but any other playtesting, feedback, and thoughts would be very much appreciated!
I'll update this post as I add more.

These items contain AI Art. Eventually, I hope to get to a place where I can make another compendium where I can afford to commission art for it, but was not able to with this one as I wanted to keep everything free.
Some items will appear differently in the PDF release than on D&D Beyond due to what's possible in the homebrew creator. I'll note those in the description.
These were built for the 2024 rules, but designed to be backwards compatible. For example, I have "Additional" features for each Species that allows you to do Ability Score Increases with them and a note in the description about that. Changes required are listed in the PDF and I will (eventually) be releasing 2014 versions of each subclass on here.
Subclasses:
Bombardier Artificer: Create and customize explosives to decimate your enemies (2014 Version TBD)
Path of Rolling Thunder Barbarian: Transform into a giant spiked ball when entering a rage and rolling over your enemies (2014 Version TBD)
College of Melodrama Bard: You get super into character... like probably way too much into character. At the end of a long rest, you pick a class and gain some of their abilities (2014 Version TBD)
I'm dialing back the power on some of these as a result of playtesting
Penance Domain Cleric: They damage themselves (don't make it weird) and/or give themselves conditions to pass it along to others (2014 Version TBD)
Circle of the Brood Druid: These druids played way too much Pokemon growing up. They have a beast companion or companions that evolve over time based on their adventures (2014 Version TBD)
I've only done Tier 1 playtesting with this one and I suspect they get too strong at higher levels, so will likely make some changes after some upcoming oneshot tests
Murder Hobo Fighter: They get bonuses from murder, particularly against challenging foes (2014 Version TBD)
Doing some heavy revisions to this one after playtesting
Warrior of Abyssal Chains Monk: Use mystical chains to attack at range, bind your foes, and inflict other conditions (2014 Version TBD)
Few of the level 3 features showed up during some low-level playtesting, so may be doing some light revisions of early level features
Oath of Self-Preservation Paladin: These Paladins are all about protecting themselves by receiving buffs based on the number of allies around them (2014 Version TBD)
I'm on the fence about this one, both in terms of the potential AC boost and the play style it encourages. I've gone back and forth on inflicting an AC penalty on those who boost yours.
I created an alternate Paladin option (Oath of Non-Disclosure Paladin) for the book, but the Oath of Self-Preservation is more in line with the source material I based this on.
Slime Tamer Ranger: What if a Beast Master Ranger was really into slimes (like really really into them)? This subclass is your answer, they're all about oozes, taking one some of their properties to squish themselves out of sticky situations and add corrosive acid to their attacks (2014 Version TBD)
The Collector Rogue: Collect adorable stuffed animals and use their magic to annihilate your foes (2014 Version TBD)
Arcane Anomaly Sorcerer: The result of magical experiments gone wrong, these sorcerers have more in common with monstrosities than their own kind (2014 Version TBD)
Newest subclass on here, so no playtesting yet
Twin Pact Patron Warlock: These Warlocks somehow made a pact with two separate entities and neither of them are happy about it. They alternate forms each day with different abilities depending on their form (2014 Version TBD)
Soulbreaker Wizard: Body swapping and breaking off a piece of your soul to deal extra power in your spells (2014 Version TBD)
They have their own new spell list from the School of Soul Magic (see the Spells section).
Species:
Descendent of the Ancients: Creatures descending from an alien, forgotten, or legendary race. They seem weak, but have incredible potential.
Clay Golem: Reshape your body to hide or damage foes
Ettin: Two heads are better than one - note that this changes Ettin physiology significantly because...
Bluggatin: When one of an Ettin's head's dies, they transform into a new creature, whose name means Cursed One.
Gloopid: Oozey slug people who can infect others to propagate their species.
Humpling: Anthropomorphic camels who store noxious gasses in their humps
Intellect Devourer: Intellect Devourers who have broken free of their Mind Flayer oppressors. They spend most of their time in a host body, gaining their speed, creature type, and size (like a Lineage), but revert to their true form when in serious danger
Snowsicle: Arctic nomads with powers over ice and snow
Teddy Bear: Teddy Bears brought to life by magic! Cuteness is a weapon
Backgrounds:
I cannot share these because they link to Homebrew Origin Feats (see next section). Instead, I've listed the text and applicable feat.
Elementary School Teacher with the Cat Herder feat
Bartholomew Johnson, get that out of your mouth! SUZIE, no scissors!! You are a master multi-tasker rushing from one emergency to the next. Overworked and underpaid, you are responsible for guiding the next generation (and keeping the little idiots from getting themselves killed). Randall, pants back on this instant!

Gas Station Attendant with the Life Hacker feat
Hey man, you want a bag? It costs extra. As a former "sales associate", you are skilled at accepting job offers. You do whatever needs doing (when you feel like), which turns out to be a common skillset among adventurers. Your prior work allows you form a kinship with shopkeepers and working-class citizens.

OMG is it really you?! You are well-known for being well-known. It doesn't matter whether this stems from your appearance, connections, or personality—your opinions are heard far and wide. You have built a brand and are not afraid of gratuitous product placement. Remember to Like and Subscribe!
And how does that make you feel? You are an expert at getting into someone's head. Spending so much time exploring the psyche of everyone else has given you an almost supernatural control over social encounters, but left your own identity in a constant state of flux. How does that make you feel?
Armchair Detective - A combination of some features from Keen Mind (2014) and Observant, you can Search or Study as a Bonus Action and remember everything
General Feats
Anchored (+1 STR or CON) - Stop being pushed around
Celebrity (+1 CHA) - You're great at first impressions and have loyal followers who feel your pain
Designated Survivor (+1 CON) - Basically a version of Relentless Endurance on a stick
Puppet Master (+1 DEX, CON, or CHA) - Let your minions take attacks for you
Team Manager (+1 INT, WIS, or CHA) - A wise mentor provide advice and guidance for your ability checks
Boon of the Dilettante - version in D&D Beyond is not finished due to some limitations with Weapon Mastery, spellcasting abilities and fighting style feats, so will add this when we don't have to manually add each weapon mastery and fighting style feat as an option. I'll make a custom version with those choices when people use it in my campaign. Here's the text:
Epic Boon Feat (Prerequisite: Level 19+)
Who needs a party when you can do it all? You gain the following benefits.
Ability Score Increase. Increase one ability score of your choice by 1, to a maximum of 30.
Well-Rounded. You gain proficiency in all skills.
Well-Trained. Your martial training grants you a Fighting Style feat and allows you to use the mastery properties of one weapon you are proficient with. Whenever you finish a Long Rest, you can practice weapon drills and change one of those weapon choices.
Well-Versed. You learn one cantrip of your choice from any spell list. The spells' spellcasting ability is the ability increased by this feat.
Magic Items:
These are all designed, but pending upload, so I'll add links when I finish them up. Many of the bombs are detailed in the Bombardier Artificer subclass.

Updated all the Soul Magic spells and links as my previous naming scheme got them rejected and stuck in moderation for a while.
